Accelerated Consensus What topics do we address?
|
In every Accelerated Consensus process we facilitate, leaders of the host-sponsor (i.e. our "client") ask us to help them identify and shape specific strategic intentions for projects, initiatives and public issues that they and their constituents want to address. In the past, we have applied the Accelerated Consensus process to specific projects, initiatives, and issues in areas of community quality-of-life such as:
- Education
- Health care
- Arts and humanities
- Economic opportunity
- Harmony among diverse peoples
- Transportation systems
- Recreation and leisure
- Preservation of historic assets and cultural traditions
- Sustainability and enhancement of the natural and built environment.
The specific issues that arise during a given process will vary from place to place, depending on the current local circumstances, and the particular concerns of the local sponsor and participants. Whatever the situation, however, the process enables constituents and outsiders as well, to recognize, assess, and build upon the distinguishing resources and assets that make the client organization or community unique and special.
